Establishing PK/PD thresholds based on target site concentrations instead of plasma
The aim of this project is to improve understanding of PK/PD relations of antimicrobials at the infection site, as opposed to using plasma concentrations to predict antimicrobial effect and resistance development. To this end, we aim to integrate clinical PK date, preclinical PK/PD data, and pharmacometric modelling.
